REID MURPHY: INSTRUCTOR, TECH
- More than 15 years of performance experience
- More than 7 years of Teaching Experience
- Has shared a stage with Bernard Wright, Andy Pickett, Joe Savage, and many other DFW legends
- Played the guitar and mandolin in the musical "Big River"
- Studied Jazz and music theory on scholarship at UTA under Tim Ishii
- Studied jazz under Grammy Nominated saxophonist S-Ankh Rasa
- Proficient in over 10 instruments including Saxophone, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, piano, and drums
- Has performed at sold out theaters, music venues, and festivals in over 12 states
IAN GILLIES: INSTRUCTOR, TECH
- A.A.S. Degree in General Studies from Navarro College
- Attending UTA on scholarship studying Music Industry under Chris Evans and Andrew Eldridge
- Currently performing with jazz combos at UTA under Peter Claggett and Christopher McGuire
