    • Auditions must be submitted by providing a YouTube link or Google Drive video link in the Audition Form. Auditions submitted through other means will not be considered.
    • Performance must be between 1 and 4 minutes. Auditions outside of this timeframe will not be considered.
    • Performers must be either a vocalist, instrumentalist, or acoustic duo or trio (guitar and keys, sax and keys, etc.). This is not a “Battle of the Bands”.
    • Performer(s) must be between the ages of 6 and 18. Performers outside of this age range will not be considered for entry into the competition.
    • Performers do not have to reside in Ellis County to compete.
    • Performers do not have to be students of STAGE VOLUME ENTERTAINMENT.
    • By submitting an audition video, audition form and making your payment, you understand that the performance is on January 26th, 2025 at Chautauqua Auditorium in Waxahachie, TX, and you wish to participate in the show if selected. If for any reason you cannot participate in the performance, please notify STAGE VOLUME ENTERTAINMENT (SVE) immediately so that an alternate can be contacted and confirmed.
  • Auditions MUST be submitted between October 25th, 2024 and by 11:59PM December 1, 2024. Auditions submitted outside of this timeframe will not be accepted.
  • The announcement of contestants will be made via email and on the STAGE VOLUME ENTERTAINMENT social media pages on or before December 16th, 2024.
  • Performers may use backing tracks. If performing with an instrument (guitar, drums, piano, etc.) vocals may be used on the track. If submitting a vocal audition, no backing vocals may be used on the track.
  • Audition fee is $10 (ten dollars) and is non-refundable for any reason.*

    • The top 15 auditions will be selected by highest score, meaning some participants who meet the minimum score required for selection may still not be chosen.
    • In the event of a tie, an additional judge will re-review the audition by comparing contestants side-by-side.

Complete the Audition Form

When you've prepped an audition video, please compete the form by December 1, 2024, to be considered for the competition.  You will receive copies of your audition score sheets via the email address you provided.

Redirects you to our partner site Texas All Inclusive Events.

*There is an audition fee of $10. This is required and non-refundable for any reason. Why do we charge this and not make this opportunity free for everyone? This contest is not a money-making scheme. It will cost thousands of dollars to produce this event. The judges and stage crew will all be paid. The grand prizes, venue, and trophies cost money. There are marketing and website expenses. Plus, each person who auditions will have 2-3 professional musicians review the submission and provide honest feedback of their video via score sheets. Hopefully, each aspiring young musician will learn and grow from this review and it will help their future performances. Musicians providing these reviews will be paid. $10 is a nominal fee for the honest review by professionals, and the submission could lead to a spot on our showcase!
